It is sincerely hoped that the Seamen's Union will

agree to the conditions laid down in our letter and that

there will be no occasion for us to claim under this

guarantee.

It is understood of course that in the event of the

service being restricted ar altogether withdrawn by any

British Military or Naval action in the Delta, this

guarantee will not apply.
